Blah Blah Blah playlist for the 11-14-08

Before you read this weeks Blah Blah Blah playlist I want to address something. Now I wanna say that I have nothing but love to all of you peeps of Fleet FM. You guys always show me the respect as I have to you. But there are certain things that may need to be re-addressed.

Firstly people that randomly turn up on my show during the after hours, especially around 1:00 AM. Now I’m not showing favoritism towards certain individuals, but then again maybe I should……I know at least 89 per cent of the Deejays and people that make up the Fleet FM staff, which includes owner Volita Pearl Bioletti and Melissa that does accounts. But there are some who just randomly turn up to my slot without even an introduction nor validating what show they do. I mean for all I know, you may have obtained the keycode from one of your drunken stupors, and yet I would still not know you from a bar of soap.

Now normally Hobbs is the only one that tends to turn up during the wee small hours when I’m there, because he needed somewhere to chill till he gets his bus back home (and I know how that feels…….believe me) so I’m okay with that, he cool in my books. But just recently some guy keeps hanging out during my slot and has either been drunk or doing something out of character. In fact last night (I mean last week) he was not only drunk, but he made out with his girlfriend downstairs.In fact I was nearly in a confrontation with this person….I don’t need that shit!

Now I’m down for companionship and everything, but fuck sakes…….get a fucking room!! If my music is making you fuck like bunnies fine, but show some fucking respect to me. I mean I don’t need to see this shit when I go downstairs!! I just felt uncomfortable last Friday and I don’t want this to happen again…ever!
So if you’re up there at Fleet FM late night because you’re stranded, that’s fine, I’m okay with that. I guess what I’m saying is be on your best behavior. I dont know how you guys react when you’re drunk. When Alan Felon and Adrian get drunk, they’re normally happy drunks….sort of till I pissed them off (Only kidding), but I don’t know how the rest of you guys are under the stupors. You’re most welcomed to chill out and hang at my show. But…….I on till 7 A.M. in the morning every Friday……….till I die!

Another thing I want to address is the late nights at the studio. If you’re up there getting your practice on, thats cool, take as long as you can. I believe its called “First come, first served”….I’m flexible, all I ask is just a couch to crash at till I get my bus back home (I live in Otara BTW…….!) Utilize that equipment, it’s there for a reason! Oh and the dip shit that left the upstairs door open last Thursday, thanks for leaving the radio equipment open for any shithead to come off the street and have a steal, which would’ve been the case.

Come on folks lets keep our beloved station a club house friendly environment where everyone is welcomed. I can’t talk for one because I don’t own Fleet FM, its Volita’s baby. But maybe we should re-address these issues sometime soon in……say a meeting? Lets show some respect for the space ok. Because if I’m in town and the convenience of Fleet FM was taken away from all us because of these behavior and security issues I would feel gutted as all hell and have to sleep on the sidewalks with the rest of the bums till my bus arrives. I don’t want it to happen and I’m sure none of you do too!

Oh this weeks show will be sort due to the Booka Shade concert….but I will be having guests fill in the open road of dance! Oh and Volita I’ll pay for last weeks show this week, say $10?….and one more thing. Can you all clean the fucking cups in the sink…….I think next time I’ll make an effort and clean up the cups in the sink from now on, probably during Adrian’s show or something. But come on clean your messes up!
